RM Easiteach software is a versatile and popular interactive software program that often comes bundled with a variety of interactive technology packages. Whether you are using an interactive whiteboard, interactive projector, or a slate device, ACT Academy makes learning the software easy and fun. ACT Academy will help you develop the confidence, knowledge, and experience to integrate this new software into the classroom.
Onsite Classes
The Easiteach Foundation Series is designed with the needs of classroom teachers in mind. During each class, participants will be shown best practice examples from the core content areas, receive direct instruction on how to use each tool, participate in strategy discussion, and then be given guided practice time to create and share their own lesson pages. The Easiteach Foundation Series is divided into two classes:
Class 1: Basic Interaction
This four-hour workshop is designed to teach educators the basic features of the software and begin to integrate Easiteach with existing curriculum. Participants will learn how to create interactive lessons using basic tools, import PowerPoint files, and access Easiteach library resources. Easiteach has extensive text tools that will be explored including the Cloze Tool and the Word Wallet Tool. Participants will also be introduced to the Widget Bank and Easiteach’s Presentation Tools. Participants will conclude by learning how easy it is to “link” to other resources such as websites or other computer files.
Class 2: Intermediate Interaction
This four-hour workshop is designed to teach beyond the basics of the Easiteach software. Participants will see examples and learn how to “clone” objects, use some of the Widget Math tools, and create pull tabs. Participants will be introduced to the Special Effects and Animation tools. In addition, Easiteach’s multimedia effects such as sound and video will be explored.
Full Day or Half-Day Options
All of the above courses can be combined into full or half day workshops. We also offer custom full or half-day options specifically designed to meet the needs of the participants.
